In a gift shop in McGhee-Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennessee, I look at the man standing next to me and immediately recognize one of the heartthrobs of every little girl in the mid to late 60's! Micky Dolenz of the Monkees fame and what a great guy he is! Travelling with John Schneider (country music recording artist and aka Bo Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard) they were heading home to L.A. after doing an autograph party in Pidgeon Forge. The three of us talked until they boarded their flight. Micky gave me his contact info and we hope he gets to perform in the city he's never played: right here in Las Vegas! Great meeting up with you Micky!
Everytime I turn around - the airport, billboards, marquees, I keep seeing Felice Garcia's picture. You think you may have seen it a lot in the past. Felice is now Miss Henderson for 2010! She was one of the sweeties who have graced the stage with the Brazos River Band,

I found this picture that I took at least 7 or 8 years ago of a young and upcoming country star. I sat and visited with her mom and dad who were some great folks. By the way - this is Miranda Lambert back when I met her!

There was even an impersonator in town that week!

This little angel's name is Annie. Her mom and dad have one of the hottest Christian bands in North America ~ Addison Road. Jenny and Ryan are good friends of Jimmy Mac and his wife Lori. While on tour, their rented RV burst into flames and was completely destroyed along with the trailer that had all their merchandise and a majority of their equipment and clothing as well. You can read the entire story here. If you're able and willing to help them out, there's a way to do it on the site as well. The good news is that no one was hurt and little Annie seems none the less weary from it all! God bless babies!
